You can do it alone. But why would you?
One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned in building a business, a community, and now hosting retreats is that just because you can do something yourself doesn’t mean you have to.
There is something incredibly powerful about inviting others into your vision. About recognizing the gifts, talents, and expertise of people who can bring something to life in ways you couldn’t have imagined on your own.
And for me, the details matter.
Not because everything needs to be perfect, but because the way we do things is an expression of what we value.
From the beverages we shared and the coffee that became part of our morning rituals, to the flowers that made our space feel beautiful and the sweatshirts our members took home, every detail was intentional.
I’m especially grateful to
@saintjamesicedtea and
@london.nootropics and
@sugarwishgirl who generously partnered with us for the second year in a row, and to
@bloomandberryevents and our wonderful creative partners who helped bring this experience to life. Thanks to
@613restaurant for the delicious food that hit the spot and
@societythreadsapparel for the most amazing sweatshirts and swag.
Some contributed products, others offered special gifts, and others brought their craftsmanship and expertise. Every contribution mattered.
Because here’s what I believe:
Great leadership isn’t about being the only one who shines. It’s about creating more opportunities for others to shine alongside you.
And when we choose to work with people and brands whose values align with our own, we’re not just creating an event.
We’re building relationships. Supporting businesses. Creating community. And making something meaningful together.
To everyone who played a part in The Round Table Retreat, thank you for helping me bring this vision to life. 🤍
What becomes possible when we stop believing we have to do it all ourselves?
