Pretty enough to tempt me, expensive enough to admire from afar. 🍷✨

Consider this your reminder that the best Kindle is probably the one you already own. After all, she still has plenty of chapters left in her. 📖💜🩵

I have a redmi pad se. It is 8.7 inch. I use it as book reader and it was cheap as hell 😬 it was like $90 and I can use any reading apps i want. I keep commenting this on every reader reels to see if anyone else did something like this. I'm super happy with it. Best part is it's blue and has 128gb 😭 it will last forever

Yes, the price is what's messing with me the most. I have a Boox ereader and Boox has always been the most expensive brand but it does do way more so that's the trade off compared to Kindle, which have historically been the most affordable (and therefore accessible) option. But they are now charging Boox prices for a device that barely compares. The aluminum basic is $189. The Boox Go 6 (Gen 2) has warm light, micro sd slot, stylus support, full BT, google play store, and can natively read any ebook format for $199. Charging Boox prices for 16gbs and no warm light is insane work. 😭

My kindle is 12 years old. It's the 7th generation. I love it and it still works. I liked the new ones actually. But I want a kindle 7" with a pen 😂 scribe is too big and heavy to carry in my bag.

But I love the case that have the buttons to flip the pages😢.. the remote works on older versions, but is there an alternative of a cover with buttons to flip?

I have a kindle and kobo. The new kindle and their accessories are just copying the kobo. The kobo is cheaper and better in my opinion. Also you own what you buy and you arent locked into an ecosystem

I have a 2010 kindle that will no longer update (even though it will still turn on), and 2024 paper white, not getting a new one for a long time.

I bought my Kindle Colorsoft Signature 4 months ago. Thanks to Prime Days and Trade In I paid 128€. The new one costs 330€ in Germany - they are way too expensive. Do I love the fig colour? Damn yes, but not for that price. What I bought is the Kindle Click, cause it also goes backwards and you can change the brightness.

My kindle is 8 years old, the only reason I’m tempted is the page turner (because it goes forward AND backward) and they only work with 2024 onwards kindles.
