Elmcor Youth & Adult Activities, Inc

Recovery Month was filled with opportunities for connection, education, healing, and meaningful conversation. In collaboration with the @louisarmstronghouse and Re-Entry Theater of Harlem, Elmcor participated in the second cohort of the Justice Arts Program, alongside participants from @phoenixhousesny. Participants transformed their experiences into theater, spoken word, poetry, and visual art, culminating in a powerful final performance.

The C.O.R.E, our youth recovery clubhouse, hosted a Recovery Awareness Event featuring youth-led conversations, harm reduction education, interactive activities, and hands-on creative projects.

Together, these experiences highlighted the many pathways to recovery while creating space to learn, share, connect, and reduce stigma around substance use and behavioral health.
