Last night i finished reading fourth wing by @rebeccayarros , as we experience an intense yet atmospheric rainstorm⛈️⚡. I think it is a funny coincidence considering the main protagonist's signature power😅

This is probably one of the best fantasy/romance books i have read, easily competing with ascendant by @michael_r_miller_author . It wasn't just the dragons that got me hooked to the book, the well written characters, carefully crafted story, political conspiracy, anticipation for what comes next and to be completely honest the romance that was present, from enemies to lovers. In a war school where survival, strength, knowledge and battles are essential to prove ones worth, forming friendships is a risk with death always nearby, rider cadets fighting one another testing their chances of making it alive until graduation and danger looming beyond the protective borders... And inside Navarre itself.

Violet Sorrengail is able to prove everyone her worth with her strong will to live, regardless of the odds being against her, including being thrown into a role she never agreed with. She is certainly an empowering character, reminding some of us to continue being strong , because backing down is not an option
