Last night i was able to finish my animated short film my school's exhibition, I'm very happy with the result, this time i was able to finish it before the deadline
I might not be good with robots but this one came out good in terms of design and mechanics . No AI was used in the creation of this short animation as I'm strongly against it

You can also watch it on YouTube, if you like it you can show support by hitting the like button and sharing it

After 21 days of careful work and a good amount of patience i have finally finished a portrait of Oliver Sykes, lead singer of @bringmethehorizon . I am hoping of taking it with me at @ejektfestival and if I'm lucky get it signed. Personally if it wasn't for 4 specific songs ( throne, doomed, 1x1 and teardrops ) of the band back in 2020-2021 i am not sure where i would have been, they were the voice to the emotions and thoughts i couldn't express at the time, trapped in my chest and head

On Wednesday i finished reading the last four chapters of threshing day by @rebeccayarros . A book that adds more details on the story and it's most important characters, a small revelation we are given is that some of the dragons actively seek to bond with the marked ones, for what purpose we will probably have to find out in book 4. It was interesting to see the small hints of the kind of signet each character would manifest, based on their greatest desire and how each one has to struggle with their own worries, demons and goals. Of the entire book here are my most favourite chapters, in the comments below

Personally, I'm dreading to read onyx storm, I've heard it's going to be a rollercoaster

Yesterday in the afternoon i finished reading the second installment of the empyrean series, iron flame by @rebeccayarros .

Just like the first book, this was just as enjoyable to read.
Violet was now playing a very dangerous game after surviving her first year at basgiath, as she uncovers the hidden truths buried beneath a sea of lies by those in power, the more she searches for the answers the more she risks losing her life or endangering Xaden the rebellion's plans to stop a dark force that lingers outside the kingdoms protective wards. She struggles to not only keep secrets for the safety of her closest friends, now she will struggle with deciding who to trust and who to be on the lookout
Spoiler: after what happened at the end of the story I'm getting really worried for Violet and Xaden. Rebecca, please do not give these two the Romeo and Juliet treatment, they deserve a better life

Last night i finished reading fourth wing by @rebeccayarros , as we experience an intense yet atmospheric rainstorm⛈️⚡. I think it is a funny coincidence considering the main protagonist's signature power😅

This is probably one of the best fantasy/romance books i have read, easily competing with ascendant by @michael_r_miller_author . It wasn't just the dragons that got me hooked to the book, the well written characters, carefully crafted story, political conspiracy, anticipation for what comes next and to be completely honest the romance that was present, from enemies to lovers. In a war school where survival, strength, knowledge and battles are essential to prove ones worth, forming friendships is a risk with death always nearby, rider cadets fighting one another testing their chances of making it alive until graduation and danger looming beyond the protective borders... And inside Navarre itself.

Violet Sorrengail is able to prove everyone her worth with her strong will to live, regardless of the odds being against her, including being thrown into a role she never agreed with. She is certainly an empowering character, reminding some of us to continue being strong , because backing down is not an option

Special thanks to @_._xristaki_._ for this amazing birthday gift, it was something i was eager to have in my hands. Can't wait to continue with the next books of the empyrean series

Yesterday morning i finished reading the last chapter of the first book of the series songs of chaos named ascendant b @michael_r_miller_author . My thoughts on this book:

Holy mother of all gods, this was one of the best fantasy books I've ever read, from the more recent years. Everything about this book made me end up hooked, from the rich descriptions, the dragons, to some of the lore, how easily the power system was explained, the conspiracies that took place, one plot twist after another as the story progressed and of course the main characters. I was drawn to Holt and Ash from the start, I enjoyed how the author at the beginning avoided the cliche trope of Holt being " the chosen one "and over the course of the journey he starts to become what he desired, but not in the way he anticipated

The book was so good i might go for round 2 . Until i get unbound
It's a must read for fans of the inheritance cycle by @christopher_paolini

Look what arrived in Thursday. No way i was going to miss the chance to have this amazing album in my collection after that phenomenal night. It has to be my favourite and one of their best, alongside the classic one X. With Adam back in the band snd Matt staying it was one of the best comebacks in music history
Watch out neighbours, you're about to hear what good music is all about
