Not the best results I wish for (single quarter-final & team silver) But I tried. My 3rd Asian Games, not sure if this will be my last AG or one more? Italian prosecutors have opened a formal investigation into multiple senior Israeli officials, including minister of war Israel Katz, minister of police Itamar Ben Gvir, and IOF chief of staff Eyal Zamir.

The formal investigation will examine the suspected torture, kidnapping, bodily injury, and theft committed against Italian members of the Global Summed Flotilla that sailed to Gaza in 2025 and 2026 in an attempt to break Israel’s siege and deliver lifesaving aid and medicine to Palestinians there.

The investigation was opened after complaints were submitted by 50 Italian citizens detained during their participation in the aid missions. Since the first freedom flotilla sailed to Gaza in 2024, Israel has routinely abducted, detained, and tortured hundreds of EU, US, and Canadian citizens aboard legally chartered vessels that were sailing through international waters.

The Italian investigation follows the opening of an investigation by French prosecutors earlier this year, and is part of the increasing global scrutiny of Israel’s treatment of flotilla members.

From Italy to France to North America, our movement must ensure these investigations remain open and that they result in material consequences for the Zionist occupation, including formal sanctions against Zionist officials.

A routine security check at Delhi’s Jama Masjid Metro Station turned into a dramatic chase after a suspicious passenger suddenly attempted to flee, prompting a CISF officer to sprint after him and catch him near the station’s exit. CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral, drawing attention to the officer’s quick response.

The incident occurred over the weekend when security personnel noticed an unusually dense object on the X-ray baggage scanner. As officials examined the passenger, he abruptly grabbed his bag and ran through the women’s security screening area towards an escalator.

The viral 27-second CCTV footage shows a CISF officer immediately reacting to the man’s escape attempt. The officer reportedly threw aside his handheld metal detector and rushed after the suspect, taking the stairs while the man fled using the escalator. Despite the different routes, the officer managed to intercept him near Gate No. 1, where another security personnel joined in apprehending him.

What investigators subsequently discovered raised further questions. According to the CISF, an unidentified semi-solid substance was found concealed inside a stitched portion of an undergarment kept in the passenger’s belongings. Officials reportedly suspect the material could be gold paste, although its identity has not been confirmed.

The passenger claimed to be a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He and his belongings were handed over to the local police for further investigation.

The CISF shared the footage on its official social media account, highlighting the alertness and coordination of its personnel. The video has since circulated widely, with the officer’s swift pursuit attracting public attention.

The White House has confirmed that Katie Zacharia is leaving role as press secretary just days into the job.

Moments earlier, US President Donald Trump said he told Zacharia to “reconsider” her role.

Zacharia has been treated "very, very badly" by the media in recent days, Trump told reporters outside the White House.
