Yessssss favorite event of the year!

“Englishman in New York” by @antrofrog brings back the now-viral animated gentleman, this time wandering through the streets of New York with his coffee and umbrella, casually helping everyone he meets.

From saving pedestrians and helping street performers to assisting New York’s famous pizza rat, the short is full of small, clever moments, all set to Sting’s “Englishman in New York.”

What stands out is how smooth and recognizable the animation feels. The expressive movements, hand-drawn aesthetic and attention to detail give it the charm of a classic animated film, a style that seems to be resonating with millions of viewers.

The creator used Midjourney 8.2 for character design and Seedance 2.5 for animation, bringing the entire short together through Krea.

What do you think of this one? 👀
