On World Animal Day, I couldn’t leave this one out. I found it so touching to see these two lions lying together.

Lions have a unique way of greeting each other: they rub their heads and cheeks together intensely. In doing so, they release pheromones that create a shared “family scent,” which fosters a strong sense of togetherness within the group.

It’s beautiful to see ☀️
