Been missing my family so much. Sometimes I think about how hard my life has been behind closed doors and I often think, “if people only knew”. But the older I get, and the more I grow, I realize how I never want to be remembered for my pain. I want to be remembered for how I rewrote my adventure … over and over again. How I have my mother’s heart and her unwavering love for people and humanity. I don’t have a lot of childhood pictures or videos- but recently my sister found this one. Sometimes just her smile reminds me of all her goodness and that fills my heart with so many moments of her. Hold on tight to your people. Take the pictures. Book the flights. You’ll make more money- but time is a currency you do not get back.
