70.3 *Round 2*

Every year for my birthday, I try to give myself the gift of strength and health. I push the limit every. single. year. And this year, I decided to do another 70.3 Ironman.

My accomplishment on 12.7.25 has shown me how much I am capable of. It forced me into the pain cave on a level I haven’t been at in a VERY long time, and when I am there, I remember who TF I am. I like to put myself through high-stress situations and painful environments by choice, so that when life decides it wants to test me, I can manage it with grace.

I was SURROUNDED by love. Seeing those faces mixed with that support is a feeling I can only wish everyone feels at least once in their life. To my friends who woke up at 4am and cheered for us all day- you fill my cup more than you know. #woogirls

@haleynewch -to do this alongside you has been a goal since the beginning. My coach, turned best friend, turned race buddy. You continuously inspire me to be better.

I shaved off 55 minutes from the one I completed in April. I surpassed my goal by 22 min and ended with a gah damn smile on my face.
Finished in 6:38. Not bad for a girl who took on the sport 2 years ago 😉 #slayedbysloan #ironman #triathlete taken in La Quinta, California by @sloaner7

“We didn’t come this far just to come this far” 👏 We can always count on @sloaner7 for creating a learning environment that equally challenges and inspires us. Sloan’s classes consistently push and encourage dancers at Streetz to train and become the best version of themselves they can be! What city are you excited to dance with Sloan in?🔥

When you’re doing it regularly it’s hard to see your growth. It’s hard to focus on the small steps when they feel SO small. But when you step back and look at where you came from… it’s pretty freaking SICK. Here’s my 3 year journey with lifting my bodyweight to a metal bar. It’s just the beginning. #slayedbysloan #fitness #pullup by @sloaner7

Been missing my family so much. Sometimes I think about how hard my life has been behind closed doors and I often think, “if people only knew”. But the older I get, and the more I grow, I realize how I never want to be remembered for my pain. I want to be remembered for how I rewrote my adventure … over and over again. How I have my mother’s heart and her unwavering love for people and humanity. I don’t have a lot of childhood pictures or videos- but recently my sister found this one. Sometimes just her smile reminds me of all her goodness and that fills my heart with so many moments of her. Hold on tight to your people. Take the pictures. Book the flights. You’ll make more money- but time is a currency you do not get back. by @sloaner7
