CineGouna Emerge Program | Meet This Year’s Participants

We’re proud to announce the participants selected for this year’s CineGouna Emerge Program: 155 emerging filmmakers and creatives from 16 countries and 20 Egyptian governorates, chosen from nearly 1,000 applicants.

Across the Emerge, SeeMe, Perspectives and Take Two tracks, they’ll join us in El Gouna for screenings, workshops, the “Meet the Experts” series, and time to connect with the industry and with each other.

The full list of selected participants is now available in our press release on the festival website. This program is made possible by the Sawiris Foundation, the EU in Egypt, and DROSOS Foundation.

apparently speaking up about injustice is “ruining the vibe,” but ignoring it is “keeping the peace.” 🙄

and somehow the people who pride themselves on being above all the “political bullshit” think they’re the reasonable ones. what a convenient little arrangement for the Shitstein class😵‍💫

✦ @rebellious_merch exists because I believe we can take our collective rage & turn it into something useful. cute rebellious shit to wear, solidarity to spread & actual funds going toward organizations doing the work 🖤💫 #MutualAid #MerchThatGivesAFuck @macgyveringmom22

Had the absolute pleasure of interviewing Pınar Deniz and Selahattin Paşalı, the stars of O3 Medya’s The Hatmaker (distributed by Eccho Rights) at MIPCOM and …. just WOW! The series is going to be EXCELLENT, you heard it here first 🙂‍↕️

Keep your eyes peeled for the interview 🥳
