Caught a flight with my favorite travel partner this weekend to witness my cousin’s wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony. Plus it’s always good to see my family too! Congratulations Josh and Loren!

Bonus: my son was in Mobile, AL playing against Jackson State for the Gulf Coast Classic (he’s in marching band at Alabama A&M) so we got to drive over and see him too!

8 years ago, Little Mix released ‘Woman Like Me’ ft. Nicki Minaj.

The campaign started on September 30, 2018, when Little Mix and Nicki Minaj announced the single and revealed its cover art on the same day. The group invited fans to post pictures to a WomanLikeMe mosaic and held a listening party the week before release. The empowerment anthem asks a man whether he could fall for a woman who isn't the stereotypical good girl, telling him to accept her flaws and all, and Nicki Minaj wrote her own rap verse. It arrived as the lead single from 'LM5,' with a lyric video dropping the same day.

The official video came out on October 22, 2018, directed by Marc Klasfeld, and shows the group challenging female stereotypes. In one scene they walk along a massive ruler, a visual reminder that a woman's worth can't be measured or weighed, and Rolling Stone praised it. Little Mix and Nicki Minaj gave their first joint performance at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards in Bilbao, Spain.

'Woman Like Me' peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart, which made Little Mix the first act from 'The X Factor' with 20 UK top 40 singles, and it reached the top ten in seven other countries. It was certified Platinum by the BPI in April 2019, and a version with Ms Banks replacing Nicki Minaj also appeared. 'LM5' followed on November 16, 2018 and made Little Mix the first girl group with five consecutive top-five studio albums in the UK.
