I am blessed enough to be able to work at and attend a lot of cons in the NYC area, and I currently have a larger scaled project I'd like to see through, but it doesn't mean I haven't had mixed feelings.
Here's some gentle reminders to get you through it all 🖤 along with my lineup, and some thoughts, I suppose.
Luckily, I will be surrounded by some amazing people and celebrating/supporting art in a way that is meaningful to me, and I'll even get to attend my first afterparty in years, thanks to being invited as a featured cosplayer. And that's a nice lil escapism for me!

Also, goes without saying but none of my posts are created with AI. I do all the copy and designs myself. On occasion I'll use a template from canva, but it's always reformatted for my needs and such. That's why I post so infrequently ☠️

And if you ARE boycotting or protesting, I do stand with you. There's a lot of complex feelings when stuff gets "real" in these spaces. I'll be sharing artists and creators the entire weekend and on @idlescreen.afk when the shows over if you want to support them in other ways! Although @heatherboddy put it best in terms of reasoning, and alternative ways to support. So please check her out if you're passing this year too!
