The 16th Annual Alumni & Friends Cougar Cookout was held on the beautiful Taft College campus, celebrating the people who continue to make a difference in the Taft community.
This year’s Community Spirit Award was presented to Taft Union High School. We also had a touching tribute honoring Taft College alumnus and Vietnam veteran Roger Brown for his military service and participation in this year’s Honor Flight, graciously sponsored by Safe 1 Credit Union.
Congratulations as well to Doug Keeler on being named Alumnus of the Year! For decades, Doug has been an outstanding reporter and photographer, capturing the people, stories, and spirit of the Taft community.
Congratulations to all of this year’s award recipients, and thank you to everyone who continues to support Taft College and our community! @taft_college_friends @safe1cu @taftunion #kerncounty #kerncountydistrict2 #cougarcookout #taftcollege
