North St Standard
This is 1 of 8 paintings that were commissioned for an anniversary gift, which were all special places for my lovely customer and their partner. Painting things that mean something to people is generally what I like to do, whether it’s places, animals, or even people (the latter needs practice!).
With urban illustrations, my aim isn’t to capture every intricate detail but more the feeling of a place. Took some artistic license with the glow from within the building and the vibrancy of the colours.
