I had such a wonderful evening at the fantastic @northportbooks! 📕📕📕
Some highlights:
1. I got to meet Lois Mignone who ensured the Italian in the novel was perfect. Lois is a retired professor whom I adore. She patiently answered my emails about characters’ dialects and tenses.
2. Everyone and their books! We had such a lovely conversation—the Q&A was more of a dialogue than anything else—complete with a wonderful lesson from Lois.
3. A reader wears their devotion to Roma under her sleeve. I know she’ll love the novel. 🏛️
4. Jenn, who owns Northport Books and has been championing The Three Graces of Pearl Street since she read the novel. Thank you, Jenn! Next up, she’s hosting my pal @katehashwrites
5. My mom and beloved Aunt Cathy, who is a role model to me in 1001 ways. Meant so much to get this time with her.
6. Melissa, who runs a wonderful book group. Hoping to chat with them at some point.
