A day of seeing change in practice @southamptoncitycouncil Youth Justice Services.

✅ I had the privilege of returning to Southampton Youth Justice Service to spend the day with the team, exploring not only what we have delivered a few weeks ago but the impact that work is now having across practice.

What stood out was the feedback from leadership and practitioners:

→ Improvements in the quality and depth of assessments for children.

→ Practitioners reporting greater confidence in using culturally sensitive language.

→ Increased confidence to respectfully challenge thinking and assumptions in multi-agency meetings.

→ A stronger shared language for understanding complexity, difference and disproportionality.

We also introduced the team to our P.E.C.S framework, developed from our AI layer, helping to improve decision making and assessments.

PECS is designed to help practitioners quickly access relevant information, connect the dots and develop more in-depth, dynamic formulations, supporting better thinking rather than simply producing more information.

Always proud of the work we are doing with Youth Justice Services nationally and increasingly across probation, mental health and education.

The ambition remains the same:

To help professionals see more, think differently and act with greater confidence.
