We were delighted to welcome David Lammy, MP for Tottenham, to see some of the work happening across Streetz Ahead.
David joined us at Bernie Grant Arts Centre, meeting our CEO Elizabeth Lahav and the talented cast of Jade & the Beanstalk during rehearsals.
David also visited us at Devonshire Hill Primary School, where he met our Schools Development Officer William Jones, as well as the school’s Head Boy, Head Girl and Head Teacher.
During the visit, David spoke about the importance of dance and theatre and the need to make arts opportunities more accessible to children and young people.
A huge thank you to David for taking the time to visit, meet our young people and team, and see our work in action!
Tickets are still available for our upcoming Hip Hop theatre show, Jade & The Beanstalk. Click the links in our bio!
