Today, we celebrate Opal Lee, the Grandmother of Juneteenth, on her 100th birthday!
Ms. Lee, your grace, vision, and humility have helped break barriers, tell our story, and make history. Your dedication reminds us that one person’s courage can inspire generations and move a nation forward.
The Collin County NAACP salutes you on this day that God made just for you. May you be surrounded by love, joy, and the gratitude of the countless lives you have touched.
Happy 100th Birthday, Ms. Opal! We honor you, celebrate you, and thank you.
