Baby’s first public screening 🥹🥹🥹

I’m so full of joy and incredibly grateful for an amazing first public showing of my film When Womxn Gather: Lagos. It was such an honour witnessing everyone’s reactions in realtime and words cannot describe how wonderful it feels to see new people genuinely connecting with this story.

Thank you @obodo_nigeria @goetheinstitut_nigeria & @betweenbridgesfoundation for the opportunity to screen this film as part of @yourneighbour.ng Festival. Thank you to my wonderful Lagos community for welcoming me with open arms, answering all my questions, accepting all my requests to collaborate and ultimately taking me on a life-altering adventure into your loreee. Thank you for showing me what it feels like to be held in community— you saved me at a time when I really really needed it.

I’m excited to see how far this docu-series goes and the communities we are able to bridge together in the long run.
