I’ve been in such a huge reading slump for the past few months but Autumn is my absolute favourite season and I am determined to get ball back rolling with some spooky October reads! 🍁

ᴡɪɴᴛᴇʀ’ꜱ ᴛᴇᴇᴛʜ - ʀ.ᴀ ʙᴇᴛᴢᴇʀ: I was one of the lucky people that was chosen to arc read this book. I’m 60% in and absolutely love it, I’m planning to devour the rest tonight 🖤 Appalachian forests, cryptid shifters, and crime mystery? Sign me up! ꜰᴀᴡɴ - ᴄ.ɴ. ᴠᴀɪʀ: This one immediately caught my eye when I saw my friend Jess talking about it on her page @directedbyjess1 (would highly recommend giving this media queen a follow for recs). I have the Waterstones hardback of this and I cannot wait to sink my teeth into it 🦷 I haven’t read too much about this because I really want to go in blind. art by @dorywhynoy 🖼️ @cnvair

ʜᴇᴀᴅʟɪɢʜᴛꜱ - ᴄ.ᴊ. ʟᴇᴇᴅᴇ: The cover of this one caught my eye when I was browsing the Waterstones website, and reading the blurb told me I absolutely had to have it! A chilling supernatural horror that follows a burnt out FBI agent looking to solve a gruesome crime? Count me in 🔎 @ceejthemoment

ᴍᴏʀᴛᴅᴀʟᴇ - ᴡᴇɴᴅʏ ʜᴇɪꜱꜱ: I think I have to end on a high note with a vampire x witch romance where each side is investigating mysterious deaths plaguing their people. I already know this one is going to hit hard! 🩸 art by @thesleepingfoxy 🖼️ @wendyheiss.author
