If you love Blair Witch but wanted a story with more smut and cryptids, I hope you’ll give my debut a try. It’s New Adult, Horror-Romance that weaves together Appalachian horror and forbidden romance in the dead of winter.

I’m sitting at my work desk all day today totally unsure what to do with myself. The hardest part is done, and now it’s in the hands of all you wonderful readers. I hope you love it as much as I do!

When you’re able, a rate/review on any platform would mean the world to me. Every little bit of support helps so I can keep crafting all my romance and fantasy rooted in magic and the untamed.

That’s all for now, but thank you in advance to all who read! 🫶🏻

It’s been strangely quiet since releasing Winter’s Teeth… I don’t read reviews, and my publisher is the only one with access to all my performance metrics. It’s for the best that I don’t know too much though, as it has allowed me to get to work on more WIPs without doubt or discouragement.

So for now, all I know is everyone loves my book and I’m doing great 😂 (Happily delusional.)

If you read Winter’s Teeth, a rate/review would mean the world to me! Even if I’m not checking them, they do help more readers find me.

I’m about to enter my winter cave goblin mode, so I hope to share more WIPs soon!

It might be a slight problem that I love them all equally…

If you feel the same, you’re in good company!

Do you have any to add?

These are just a few of the personal lessons I’ve learned over the years working with beta readers and beta reading for friends myself. Obviously not one size fits all.

The hardest one of all to learn was #2—that I don’t always have to say yes just because a friend asks me to read or to read for me. Sometimes they’re not my ideal reader, so their feedback isn’t going to be the best for me, nor my feedback for them. Normalize saying no thank you to friends! There are still lots of other ways to support, or you can always agree to a positivity read instead.

Getting feedback can be a scary part of the process, but it’s so important to try anyways if your goal is to publish.

✨✨✨✨✨

This book had me in an icey chokehold from the very first chapter! I went into Winter’s Teeth hoping for a bit of spooky Appalachia but got so much more in return.

This book is filled with suspense, adventure, and mystery! I loved the way the story was framed around finding a missing person, with the creepy and supernatural elements built around it. I also genuinely adored the tense buildup to Rae finding out what was going on in the woods, and her switch to her villain era later on in the book. Fox was a great MMC, and getting to see him going from someone who had given up and was resigned to his fate, to the fierce protector of a girl who kept worming her way into his life was just 🙌🏼. Don’t get me wrong though, Rae can absolutely take care of herself 💪🏼

I cannot wait to see where to this story goes, and how exactly Arthur and Everly fully play into it all. Thank you so much to R.A. Betzer for the arc of this book, I look forward to reading more of your work! 🖤

Would you fall for them?

I’m such a sucker for morally gray love stories… They feel more real, and the pay off is always the best.

Feel free to share book recs in the comments 👀
