The storyline of Winter’s Teeth immediately caught my attention. The opening scene with Rae discovering Fox frozen on an ice float, only for him to suddenly wake and disappear into the woods, is such an unexpected way to introduce a character and set the tone for a mystery. What I find particularly compelling is how Rae's search for her missing sister gradually draws her into the Winter family's dark traditions, supernatural secrets, and dangerous folklore. There's also an interesting emotional conflict in her growing connection with Fox, especially when the person she may need to save is tied to the very danger she's fighting against. I love how you've combined horror, romance, and winter folklore while giving Rae a personal reason to confront the darkness surrounding the Winter family. Congratulations on your recent release! I'm curious, what inspired you to create the Winter family's centuries-old tradition, and how did you develop the complicated relationship between Rae and Fox?
