Motlow State Community College

🚁 Curious about drones? You can begin without experience or a drone of your own.

Motlow State and Unmanned Safety Institute’s 12-week Professional Remote Operator Pathway helps you turn that curiosity into professional flight skills, safety knowledge, and operational planning experience.

Explore how drone skills are used in construction, agriculture, utilities, public safety, and media. You can prepare for a new career direction or bring a new capability to the work you already do. Complete weekly, instructor-guided online coursework at your own pace. Flight practice offers daytime and evening options on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays, followed by three full days of in-person training and certification at Motlow State’s Moore County Campus. Training drones are provided. Tuition is $4,500, with payment plans available. FAA testing fees are additional.
