Learn the skills that help you operate a drone professionally.

Kent Washburn put his training to work in a full-time role capturing athletic events. Our training focuses on the flight skills, safety knowledge, and operating practices used in professional drone work.

In Motlow State and Unmanned Safety Institute’s 12-week Professional Remote Operator Pathway, you’ll prepare for the FAA Part 107 test and practice operational planning, hands-on flying, and professional safety.

Complete weekly, instructor-guided online coursework at your own pace, with flight practice offered during the day or evening on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays. Finish with three full days of in-person training and certification at Motlow State’s Moore County Campus.

Beginners welcome. Drones are provided for use during training.

The final three full days bring you to Motlow State’s Moore County Campus for in-person training and certification.
