I stopped by @kichizoh_official in Fukuoka and picked out a seasonal sweet to pair with our Yame Okumidori matcha.

The sweetness of wagashi balances the bitterness and umami of matcha so beautifully.

One of my favorite little traditions in Japan. 🌸
