Chicken before Egg?
I had heard of Josephine Tey, contemporary of Agatha Christie, whose Detective Alan Grant series ran 1929-1952, but had never read.
While walking ‘The Stacks’ at #northcarrollpubliclibrary, I came across Nicola Upson’s books ‘featuring’ Josephine Tey.
A beautifully created juxtaposition of perspectives between “The Writer’s Real Life” and “The Writer’s Book Life”.
“The Death of Lucy Kyte” (book 5) by Nicola Upson hit close to home, in a periphery way. A beautifully crafted book. #nicolaupson #JosephineTey #archiepenrose #alangrant
