Chicken before Egg?
I had heard of Josephine Tey, contemporary of Agatha Christie, whose Detective Alan Grant series ran 1929-1952, but had never read.
While walking ‘The Stacks’ at #northcarrollpubliclibrary, I came across Nicola Upson’s books ‘featuring’ Josephine Tey.
A beautifully created juxtaposition of perspectives between “The Writer’s Real Life” and “The Writer’s Book Life”.
“The Death of Lucy Kyte” (book 5) by Nicola Upson hit close to home, in a periphery way. A beautifully crafted book. #nicolaupson #JosephineTey #archiepenrose #alangrant by @flakefrizzmom

Fingers and paws crossed. Maybe on the path to be friends.
Paisley was on the couch first but Myrt loves to nap on it during the morning. Myrt jumped up, Paisley sent a Warning Growl BUT Noooooo Hiss!

Got to Visit this Sweetie today. Lucy knows how to Relax. BTW. She paws the pillows and any throws to make herself comfortable. Lucy is soooooooo Sweet and definitely Spoiled!!! by @flakefrizzmom

Happy Wild Wednesday. Yup, we’re sooooo Wild.
We’re soaking up the sun and enjoying the cooler temps.
Meowmy is trying to decide on starting a Library book or working on a crazy colored girl’s dress.
She may pick the book as somehow, the stitch count on the dress is off by four. She’s thinking letting it go as it will just make a fuller dress but her brain is screaming NO! Fix it!! by @flakefrizzmom

Decluttering and had these pots. I have NO windows getting sun thanks to the overhangs. And I can’t have outside as the squirrels and chipmunks destroy.
So friends who own an herb/plant/gift shop said Yes to taking. Although I wanted nothing in return, I gladly accepted a Baker’s Half Dozen ears that hubby CUT while I shopped. Dare you to find fresher unless you grew yourself! 🌽 by @flakefrizzmom

You know the Adage - “Measure Twice, Cut Once”…
Whelp, guess who was a weeeeeee bit overconfident that she KNEW the pattern and didn’t need to refer to it.
Now, guess who has to rip out both pieces and begin again. Instead of a Hexagon (6 sides), made a Pentagon (5 sides) which leaves no sleeve opening.
