Today, we were proud to celebrate the opening of the first Autism FIRST clinic in Newport News — another meaningful step forward in ensuring that children and families in our community have access to the care, support, and resources they need to thrive.
Every child learns and grows in their own way. Autism FIRST brings evidence-based ABA services, experienced clinical care, family partnership, and a hybrid model that provides support both in the clinic and at home.
This new clinic will help provide consistent, compassionate support across daily routines, school, and social settings — meeting children where they are and helping them grow with confidence.
As a city, we are committed to building a Newport News where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential and every family knows they are supported.
