I literally almost filtered out my boyfriend because he lived outside my dating app radius 😭
I had mine set to max 10 miles bc anyone outside of that in LA traffic felt like a long distance relationship. then one day I thought… what if my dream man is right outside that radius???
So I changed my radius to 50 miles, met him a couple weeks later, and here we are almost 2 years in 👩🏻❤️👨🏾
@sabrinabendory had such a good point about expanding your dating criteria and being open to people you normally would’ve ruled out.

I haven’t been on the apps in a few years. When I was on it I set the distance to 15 miles and it showed me guys 20 plus miles away. It didn’t listen to my filters half the time anyway! 😂 Anyone else had this problem? I’ve met people in real life. I’m single by choice at the moment.

I feel like it might be different once you have kids, especially if you’re dating someone who also has kids… a lot of parents won’t want to switch their kids to a new school district, so moving in together would be very difficult! That’s why I usually stick to the 40-minutes-away rule. May rethink that for the guys without kids though 😁 🤔
