As a kid, you look at older people, figures, like your parents and think they’ve got it all together. Now I’m that age and I’ve realised I still don’t know a whole heap, not what I thought I would know.

When I moved to the Philippines to build what is now @nexusallied , I had no idea what I was doing. New country. New culture. New team. New everything. I still don’t have it all figured out. Every day brings a new challenge, but the only thing I really know how to do is just have a crack. Figure it out along the way.

Here’s what I’ve learnt: the people you look up to are just more experienced. They don’t have it all figured out either. I don’t think anyone ever does.
