Book description:

Eira’s home is her prison.

No one enters.

No one leaves.

In Ardori, the punishment for a woman wielding a blade is death.

Eira and her older brother, Tilian, train in secret. A small rebellion against their narcissistic, self-sanctioned God, who brands his citizens with his ‘maark’. He seeks to control all, and he would succeed if not for the magical barrier keeping the kingdom imprisoned from the rest of the world.

When hidden truths emerge, Eira discovers she is the only one who can move beyond the barrier and questions everything she’s ever known. Desperate for answers, she leaves her lifelong home to find the Seluna Tribe– an elusive group who worship the moon.

Thrust into the unexpected company of the mysterious desert dweller, Harmi, and the enigmatic descendant of the Moon Goddess, Quill, she is quickly caught between two worlds... and two hearts.

Faced with a series of impossible choices, can Eira make it back to Ardori in time to save her brother from an uncertain fate?

Or will she be responsible for the demise of an entire civilisation?
