Firefly World

Last Friday, we had the Time of Our Lives at the FIREFLY TEEN FESTIVAL! ✨🔥

The magic began in the beautiful @wendemuseum garden before guests entered the theater for an unforgettable evening of inspiration, connection and celebration!

🎤 Our founder @fireflynow kicked things off with a powerful REAL TALK PANEL featuring:

✨ @cindychanin of @rainboweduconsulting — wisdom from her Ivy League admissions experience.

✨ @eloralyda of @innerteambuilding — the power of creative expression for youth.

✨ @dr.jeffreyptak jeffreyptak — how physical health and posture influence our nervous systems and emotional well-being.

✨ @spencerpaez — an honest look behind influencer culture, toxic algorithms and reclaiming mental health.

🎶 Our first teen showcase artist, maite.angelmusic, wowed us with her voice and songwriting, reminding us to stop worrying about others’ opinions and BE OURSELVES!

🔥 FIREFLY CONCERT PART 1 explored self-love, identity and embracing our imperfect journeys through songs: PerfectShadow, RealMe and BeautifulMess.

🎶 Next, 13-year-old Marleigh (@crystale.green) delivered a beautiful rendition of “What Was I Made For?” and shared how bullying helped her find her voice.

🔥 PART 2 explored choosing hope, finding our light through pain and embracing ALL our emotions, featuring songs ChoosingHope and Shine.

🎶 @ayana.manji captivated us with an original a cappella song about anxiety and shared the importance of patience while finding solutions.

🎉 THE GRAND FINALE brought the house to its feet with VivaLaVida and TimeOfOurLives, alongside the incredible @bollypop_la dancers!

❤️ Special thanks to @riazrpatel of @odysseyimpactnyc and Culver City Mayor @mayorfreddypuza for their encouraging words and support!

🎁 Our teens left with raffle prizes and gift bags filled with goodies from our generous community partners!
