I saw this and broke down. Because this has been me. It instantly took me back to when my Daughter was around 18 months old and I was in the kitchen, n I threw a plate that landed in the living room. Instantly, exactly like this, I broke down.
It took me another six months to recognise what was happening and seek help.
My Daughter was 2 when I was diagnosed with Post partum depression, anxiety and PMDD. I was immediately put on medication and those meds saved my life. That along with consistent therapy for three years brought me back to myself. My new normal.
As we approach #WorldMentalHealthDay, let’s not leave Maternal Mental Health out of this conversation.

Wish bollywood hollywood or someone would have had told us this part of the motherhood so we would have been prepared. But sadly everyone around us just made sure to fully glorify and only show the positive part of motherhood. And that actually made all this felt more miserable for us thinking that we might be the only one not enjoying this enough. 💔

🥺🥺💔💔so true but most of them are turned down ,hum ne b toh bache paida kiye thay 😐 .They don't get the right help
