Someone used AI to put the entire game of Minecraft inside X, with working multiplayer. 💀

The project is called Tweetcraft. Every world has its own link, and anyone who opens it can join the same world and play together in real time.

You can mine, build, explore, and even fight a custom “Block Dragon” directly through the browser. Technically, Tweetcraft is a Minecraft-style game built with original assets, not the official Minecraft client.

Ben Affleck casually reveals he writes Python, understands convolutional neural networks, has worked extensively with GPUs, and has gotten private looks at AI video research from Google and OpenAI. He says he got interested in the technical side of filmmaking as the industry moved from analog film to digital. Visual-effects workflows had already been using machine learning for years, which led him to learn enough Python to write what he calls “pretty shitty Python scripts.” Affleck then starts explaining tensors, CNNs, edge detection and feature extraction, describing how an image can be represented numerically through the RGB values of each pixel and analyzed for patterns. Singapore just hosted its first humanoid robot fight, and one of the bots actually got knocked out in the ring. The event featured humanoids throwing punches, grappling and taking each other down in front of a live crowd. Human pilots controlled them through full-body motion-capture systems, with the robots mirroring their movements in real time. The setup is surprisingly close to Real Steel, where human operators also controlled the fighting robots and Atom could mirror Charlie’s movements through its shadow function.
