The best summer days are spent swimming and playing cards

Each year I go backcountry camping with my family. One of my favourite aspects of being completely isolated in the woods is the lack of phone service. Having no access to the internet—even for a week—always seems to bring everyone closer.

The majority of our days are spent talking, reading, admiring the nature, swimming and playing cards.

I made this small animation as a reminder of those lovely days and those lovely people.
