She’s done. She’s elated. She’d glowing. She has so much to do for November weddings & non-time sensitive big projects that have been pushed off till now!

Tonight will be very cute though. My final October full bridal party will be wrapped up! This flower girl, daughter of the groom, immediately hit it off with my 5yo. Last fitting was a school night & my daughter was so upset when she left! So we decided to have a lil pizza party play date & garment pickup on a Friday. The bride ofc picked her dress up another time to keep the secret! She is going to be gorgeous!

I still have a lot of work on my schedule, but I do also have two break days scheduled for the next few weeks to fill my cup (& sleep deficit) back up after the burn out brink.

Having a highly seasonal business is stressful because you know you will be taking on too much work for a time & you will not be sleeping enough. But you also know that you are banking up funds in order to have more flexibility for a lot of other time periods, like summer & the holidays. Since I have now made it through two October’s and one May, focusing mainly on Bridal, I can say it is worth it. I also am very very ready to sleep more and spend more evenings with my husband, two weeks from now.
