Our Daily Bread Cincinnati

We are touched and proud to have a new mural adorning our building on the Elder St side! Photographer @melaninandhalide and artist @jimtucker_studio collaborated for @blinkcincinnati to honor loved and respected OTR and Our Daily Bread community members. Frank carefully photographed Sarah who works with ODB guests as part of the Hamilton County Quick Response Team, Ms Ruby who is a longtime ODB guest and community member, Mr Yip who owns Saigon Market at Findlay Market across the street, Barbara who lovingly volunteered with ODB for three decades, Joe who is another longtime ODB guest and artist who knows just about everybody in OTR, and finally, Jim painted a portrait of Cookie, ODB’s beloved founder, right by our front door.

Jim’s painting work gave each portrait a soft frame to rest within and reflected what we do inside ODB, featuring lots of food, unique characters, and fun energy.

We are grateful to have gotten to know Jim and Frank during this process, and we are so glad to have a colorful piece of art on our building that is pleasing to the eye and such a good fit for ODB and OTR. Come check it out these next couple nights of Blink and for long after. ❤️☕️
