This is such a tough post to make and I know so many critics will jump at anything to attack me about but I’m doing this for the other women out there who have experienced sexual assault, and for all the others that I hope this post can help to avoid. Handling or responding to something like this is not going to be the perfect response in anyone’s eyes and I’ve experienced a lot of bullies in social media so just a heads up if you’re mean in comments, no one needs that, especially around such a sensitive topic so I’m not making space for those types of people. Other questions people had that I think were not addressed in yesterdays posts we can make another post about. This topic and issue is the most immediately important thing to put out to help women stay safer. Much love and aloha and while we get lots of messages, we will do our best to compile and get back to people bout anything important in the dive and wildlife community anytime we are made aware of it. Thank you for your patience and kindness and sharing methods to help others stay safer as they travel the world to work or dive and enjoy time with wildlife in the wild 🩵🦈🩵 #ocean #women #diving #expedition #sharkdiving

#MelyssaFord is getting candid about why she’s still single as she approaches her 50th birthday! ❤️ As part of her “50 Days to 50” countdown, Melyssa shared seven reasons why dating looks different for her these days. She explained that chemistry alone is no longer enough, small talk doesn’t interest her, and after experiencing heartbreak, she’s become much more cautious about who she allows into her life. Melyssa also revealed that she values intellectual connections, refuses to lower her standards and has grown so comfortable with her independence that she actually enjoys being alone. She says she now pays closer attention to emotional safety, how someone handles difficult conversations and whether their actions match their words. And before anyone calls her bitter, Melyssa made it clear that she’s simply no longer willing to compromise the peace she worked so hard to rebuild. (SWIPE) Family, do y’all relate to any of Melyssa’s reasons for staying single?
