The hardest goodbye 💔
Bramble ( Bam bams ) was helped into her forever sleep at home today surrounded by love and eating pea flakes right til the end 💔

I can’t put into words how special Bramble was to our family.

I will miss you my whole life, my dear best friend.

Hopey ❤️‍🩹

Yesterday we had to do a rather urgent dental due to her stopping eating. She’s still not eating by herself as she’s too out of it from the anesthetic. Hope is now 5 and this is potentially her 33/34th dental so I do find it takes her a couple of days to come to again.

The procedure went well and some sharp spikey spurrs were removed from her teeth ( check our story)!

Couple of days of TLC with meds and syringe feeds and she will be back to her normal self . She’s been snuggled up to Baloo all night her cuddle bear 🐻

Huge thank you to the vet team @thepetvet_bristol for sorting her appointment so quickly it always caused chaos as she tends to give us zero warning. Huge thank you to Amelia our vet who has been by her side throughout ❤️‍🩹 by @bunnies_burrows

New lease of life ❤️ Hunter and Tac ❤️

A little day in the life of these 2 ❤️

Hunter has settled in so well here and will live out his days with us ❤️

I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a few elderly bunnies now and there really is something so special about it. It’s hard to not wish you had all the time in the world , but time runs out for us all at one stage, we love him dearly x

Babies ❤️‍🩹

We’re home 🏠 much earlier than planned ❤️

Hope didn’t have her dental today. She has been eating quite well the last couple of days ( quite a bit from her weight) 🤣 she’s the heaviest she’s been!

From what we can see it’s the usual one tooth that goes in to the left side but it’s not pointed or painful yet, her last dental was 4 months ago and it does for the first time appear she’s been eating hay 🎉🥳… so we monitor and continue for a few weeks as it’s about keeping her comfy and only doing surgeries when we have to as she’s had over 33 now.

It will inevitably be in the next few weeks but for today she’s extremely happy to be home 🤣

Baloo our little bear 🐻.
He’s really been through the mill and gave me quite a scare on Saturday when he stopped eating. His tear ducts really looked terrible so he’s successfully had them flushed today thank goodness. We also have a plan for eye drops going forward.

It does look like Baloo has some nerve damage/ facial paralysis from one of the ear surgeries … so we will just have to deal with this over time and assess his teeth and tear ducts regularly.

He is such a cuddly loveable boy, I’m so grateful Beyond words for our long term vet Amelia for the care, kindness and expertise she continues to show us ❤️ by @bunnies_burrows
