Why don’t police officers have weekly or monthly mental evaluations or annual evaluations to determine if they're able to patrol the streets, if that makes sense?

they should not have a job in the first place if they cant control their emotions. their salary is paid with our hard earned money. we dont work 3 months a year for free to be abused by childish goofballs with a power trip. defund them

Your personal life or problems does not give you the right to neglect your sworn duties…if your having a bad enough day to where you decisions could be effected call off it’s that simple they have things called mental health days
