We recently had the opportunity to connect with the Yogi Judge, aka Judge Dawson. Alongside his responsibilities as the Administrative and Presiding Judge of the East Cleveland Municipal Court, he also serves as a yoga teacher, author, and motivational speaker. Tune in as he shares how he strives to provide the tools for individuals to reach their personal best.

Is #flashbackfriday still a thing? We are still on a high from the #mentalwealthexpo2026 hosted by @devibrown and @cthagod it was excellent! @judgedawson and I had the privilege of presenting on how the legal system is making us sick too! We shared tools that could be used in any moment, whether at home, while pulled over or in a courtroom. We met some incredible mental health leaders who have broken cycles and are using their platforms to help others do the same. #mentalhealth matters. by @judgedawson

In 15 years on the bench, I've seen what keeps people safe during a police stop — and what gets them hurt. Five steps. Swipe through, and share this with somebody you love. It could save their life.

What if the dream feels too big because it is asking you to grow? What if the decision your heart is calling for requires you to trust that it will all workout?

Sometimes we receive a vision before we have the confidence, resources, or skills to bring it to life. That gap can feel intimidating. But it is also where the journey begins.

Take the next honest step. Learn what you need to learn. Trust when you cannot see the whole road. Surrender the need to control every turn.

Yes, the goal matters. But pay attention to the patience, courage, and discipline you build on the way. The person you become may be able to serve far beyond the one dream that started it all.

Which slide speaks to where you are right now?

Newark, you showed up. 🙏🏾

This weekend at the Mental Wealth Expo, I had the honor of presenting our "Breaking Cycles" How The Legal System Is Making Us Sick workshop, a courtroom and community conversation on healing and transformation, alongside Chief Probation Officer Tierra Banks. @iamtierrabanks

From the bench, we see every day how the legal system is making us sick. This weekend, we talked about the cure: breaking the cycles that keep our families and communities bound, and building mental wealth instead.

Thank you to Charlamagne Tha God @cthagod and the Mental Wealth Alliance @mentalwealthalliance for creating this space, to @iHeartRadio, and to everyone who filled our room, asked the hard questions, and left committed to change.

The work continues. Breaking cycles. Building mental wealth. 💪🏾
