Holy cow y'all. This is a special pair of sixguns.
The brass frame Ruger is the FIRST 41 magnum made by Ruger and presented by Bill Ruger to Elmer Keith. It is now in Chauncey's care and he absolutely uses it! I love it.
The SAA is Bubba's Number 5. It was built on a 2nd gen 357 by John Powers and the stocks were made by Paul Persinger. Bubba shoots this thing! The first encounter I had with it last year he slapped it in my hands and INSISTED I shoot it.
I'm blown away. Everyone had fun watching me taking photos of them.

Sixguns are a bit like women. The fantasy conversation is a heck of a lot easier than reality. As soon as you get one in your hands the fit may not be what you imagined and the reaction to your directive might be met with different criteria. Still, a man can’t live without ‘em, lest his spirit turn to plastic pistols and the coldness of a relationship.
