In the end,
love is not about finding someone
who completes you.

It is stranger than that.

It is meeting someone
before whom your masks become tired.
Someone who does not rescue you,
b it t makes you want to stop abandoning yourself.

Perhaps that is why love feels sacred, because for a moment,
another human being becomes a mirror
in which you can finally see
the part of you
that was never meant to live alone.
