A 44-year-old Illinois woman is sitting in jail after allegedly stabbing her own friend in the chest, all because the woman pointed out that she had a little fuzz in her hair! __________ According to Law & Crime, Cynthia Denise Dear became furious on October 11 after her friend casually told her, “Your hair has fuzz in it.” The victim insisted she wasn’t trying to be disrespectful, but Dear allegedly took offense and threatened to give her the “dirty south treatment.” As the woman attempted to walk away, Dear reportedly jumped out of a truck, struck her, and then returned to spray her with mace. Investigators say Dear eventually jumped on the woman’s back while holding pepper spray and a knife. The victim managed to wrestle Dear to the ground before realizing she had been stabbed in the upper chest. A witness rushed to a nearby Burger King for help, and the injured woman was taken to a hospital, where she received stitches. __________ Police later located Dear inside her truck and reportedly recovered a bloody knife and pepper spray nearby. While being questioned, Dear allegedly expressed concern for her friend’s condition before admitting, “I didn’t mean to stab her. It was a mistake.” She now faces three felony aggravated battery charges and is being held at the Macon County Jail without bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 28. All of this allegedly started over a little piece of fuzz in somebody’s hair!
