Celebrating 341 days and 171k words of BATTLE CLERICS!
With my partner in crimes, lap warmer, editorial and author assistant Bartleby. Who is most pleased that his motha got the bug to write something epic in length as it maximizes his lap share.
For me: No rest for the wicked. Already crunching on edits and plotting out the third and final part! 🙌✨
But still wanted to take a moment to be like HELL YEAH and look over some statistics. I only average about 500 words per day, but I’m super consistent with less than 10 zero word days since I started drafting last November. Coming up on the one year Battle Boy-a-versary. Maybe I’ll announce/ show off something neat for it. 🤭
What is this silly little epic? 👇
📖: BATTLE CLERICS is a dual-timeline romantic Epic Fantasy (Traumantasy) that combines the war college setting of Fourth Wing with the mind flayer lore of Baldur’s Gate III (if the aberrations were hot eldritch angels instead of squids).
If you love the doomed yaoi of Jayvic, Oufrey, and The Summer Hikaru Died, then boy do I have the slop for you. 😋
It features:
🖤 Doomed by the Narrative
👁️ Slooooow Burn (Yearn it to Earn it)
🖤 Magic War College
👁️ Eldritch/ Cosmic Monsters
🖤 Light Victorian Steampunk World
👁️ Weird Monster Kinks
🖤 Trippy Hive Minds
👁️ Neurodivergent-coded Protagonists
🖤 Trauma Healing and Hurt/ Comfort
👁️ Oops! All Clerics Magic System

341 days, 171k words and fewer than 10 zero-word days is serious discipline. 500 a day really adds up 👏 Bartleby clearly deserves an editorial credit for all that lap time. Congrats on reaching the final part!
