How long did it take for the reception to be set up? Two days.

Day one:
Draping
Stage plus carpeting
Custom dancefloor
Drop off of bigger furniture pieces such as
Custom bars and barback
Lounge sets
Linens steaming

Day two:
Napkins
Chargers
Butter plates
Silverware
Glassware
Table numbers
Menus
Meal cards
Bar signs
Truss and pendants
Lighting
Ah, let’s not forget all the set up of ceremony and cocktail hour

And probably there is more that my brain now is forgetting.

It just doesn’t magically happen, deliveries are scheduled in a way that trucks are not stuck at the dock one after another, the order of items that gets set follows a specific timeline, the teams need breaks for lunch, and each rental company has specific delivery timings that also needs to be taken in consideration because let’s remember that rental companies have multiple events per day. It takes planning and moreover it takes time + a solid relationship with your vendors. That is why we love working with the best ❤️
