• A little sports romance, a proposal trope and a whole lot of women supporting women!
For our September sports romance month, we picked The Proposal Play by @laurenblakelybooks, and the proposal trope felt extra special as we celebrated our co-admin, @macies__ and her recent engagement! Because what better way to celebrate one of our own than by gathering the girls, sharing a good book and reminding each other that women supporting women will ALWAYS be our favorite thing!
We also got spoiled with the sweetest goodies from Lauren Blakely herself, including bookmarks, stickers and autographed book plates! Thank you so much to Lauren and her team, @kpsimmon, for making this meeting even more special! We absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read more!
Also, a huge thank you to @vibeinfresno, our host for the evening, for welcoming our Boozy Bookwormz ladies and making us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a new sports bar to check out, show them some love!
Another meeting in the books, another memory made and another reminder that this community is about so much more than the stories we read. it’s about the friendships we build, the milestones we celebrate and the way we continue to show up for one another.
