My favorite person on the planet turns 37 today.

I’ve had the honor of being married to her for nearly 16 years. I’ve watched her build a spectacular career, create stunning pieces of art, and raise three wildly cool kids. I’ve watched her deconstruct and reconstruct multiple versions of herself. I’ve watched her love and lose. What’s always constant is a person who is true to herself and her values, with a deep love for the people around her, an insatiable curiosity, relentless optimism and a deep desire to just play. She’s as good as it gets, and I’m just lucky to be a part. For those who know, you know, and you’re nodding along as you read this.

This original piano piece of hers has made its way through our home for years. A score to our little life. It was a joy to track it this weekend, and I snuck a little video too:)
