![Wildfires in Central Kalimantan have left burning embers smoldering beneath the surface of peatlands. This makes the fires difficult to extinguish, as the embers can continue burning underground even when no flames are visible on the surface. The footage was shared by Asrul Putra Nanda, who witnessed volunteers from Rescue Rumah Zakat Kalbar battling the blaze in Palangka Raya on Monday night (October 12). He also encouraged the public to keep Central Kalimantan in their prayers. 💔💔💔
